SOLID STATE OPTRONICS SIGNS DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENTS WITH TWO TOP ELECTRONICS COMPONENT DISTRIBUTORS

SAN JOSE, Calif., May 18, 1998 -- Solid State Optronics today announced that it has signed distribution agreements with Master Distributors and Control Design Supply, two leading distributors of electronics components. Under the terms of the agreements, Master Distributors and Control Design Supply will distribute SSO's line of high-quality, low- cost, optically-isolated solid state relays through their national network of resellers. The two newly signed distributors will carry Solid State Optronics' MOSFET-based AC/DC relays, SCR-based AC relays, and specialty products for numerous telecommunication, instrumentation, and industrial control applications.
